How is GEO different from SEO?
SEO optimises your website for the Google results list, while GEO optimises for AI answers (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews). The methods overlap, but GEO additionally requires answer-first content, structured data and citation sources beyond your own website. They work best together.
Is GEO the same as local (geographic) SEO?
No. GEO here means Generative Engine Optimization — optimising for generative AI engines. Local (geographic) SEO is a separate discipline related to Google Maps and local queries.
How much does GEO cost?

How soon will I see results?

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?
